October 21, 2022 | 4 min Read
It’s that time of year when it’s socially acceptable for full grown adults to put on costumes and feel like a kid again! In the spirit of Halloween fun, we have a list of some not-to-miss events happening in the Big Apple.
Greenwich Village Halloween Parade
On October 31, there’s just one place to be and that’s at the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade. 2022 marks the 49th occurrence of the parade that began with a lone mask maker and puppeteer, and has grown into a cultural event with more than 50,000 participants. This year the parade’s theme is: freedom. Watch as goblins, ghouls and ghosts wind their way through the neighborhood in a celebration of Halloween. There are also ways to participate if you’d like to get involved in the event. The parade runs straight up 6th Ave. from Canal to West 15th Street.
