Being Vegan in New York City
New York City has hundreds of options when it comes to finding amazing vegan food. Between the cafes and restaurants that cater specifically to vegans and the wealth of ethnic food that is naturally vegan, you’ll never be at a loss for good eats.
And so much of it is so delicious, it attracts non-vegan foodies as well! And the cherry on top, is that vegan restaurants are usually very accessible for gluten-free and dairy-free patrons. Let’s see some of our favorite vegan options.
#1 Avant Garden
Who said vegan food has to be “hippie” food? Avant Garden goes out of its way to show how classy, stylish, and upscale vegan food can be. Starting with simple vegan basics, like cauliflower, carrot, and avocado, this restaurant takes them to the next level with exquisite seasoning, garnishes, and combinations of flavors.
