New York City is photogenic, there’s no doubt about it. With its big city vibes and cultural cache, it’s an instagrammers paradise. This week we created a curated guide of 6 must-photograph stops that will boost your likes and show off your NYC prowess.

Staple Street Skybridge

Adventure down one of the smallest streets in the bustling Big Apple for a quiet moment. On Staple Street you’ll find an enclosed pedestrian bridge that connects two old brick buildings in Tribeca. Looking up from the cobblestone street at the dainty enclosed bridge with its melting glass windows is like staring back in time to a New York of the past. It’s also a great spot for fashionistas to frame a killer outfit under the bridge.

The Manhattan Bridge

While we’ve all heard of the Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge, its lesser known sibling, is equally photogenic and can be less crowded. Pro tip: walking across the Manhattan bridge offers an opportunity to scope out the Brooklyn Bridge from afar and put it in the background of your photos.

Pietro Nolita

If you like bubble gum pink, you’re going to love Pietro Nolita. This adorable cafe and Italian restaurant is well known for its photogenic character and pink color scheme. The owner was inspired by the hues of the Italian Riviera and the postmodern aesthetics of the Memphis Group. But above all, pink is a tribute to the owner’s mother and a nod to all women.

There are adorable pink benches outside next to large potted plants, pink walls, chairs and a heart themed bathroom. So get your camera and be ready to be awash in rose!

Top of the Rock

If you’re looking for a sweeping panoramic of the city, Top of the Rock is your kind of place. The observatory located on 30 Rock’s 86th floor, yields a vista from the belly of NYC in Midtown. You can pick out landmark buildings, even Times Square and put them in the background of your instagram selfies. Or, let the magic of the city stand alone. Options to view from indoors (best in winter) or outdoors, make this spot all the more insta-friendly.

30 Rockefeller Plaza

New York, NY 10112

Stone Street

We all love a quaint little street in the middle of the bustle of the highways and crowded sidewalks of 5th Avenue. Wander down to Wall Street and you’ll find a sweet cobblestone road between Wall Street and Broad Street: Stone Street. This historical area was the first brewery in North America. Today, it’s pedestrian-only and the perfect spot for a historical-style instagram pic! Many of the buildings in this area date back to the 19th century. There are also a plethora of restaurants and bars whose seating spill out into the streets, creating a jovial atmosphere.

The Met Cloisters

Head north to Upper Manhattan’s Fort Tryon Park to visit the Met Cloisters. The cloisters showcase old European-esque churches and buildings that create the feel of a medieval monastery. The location is perfect for time travel and photos that evoke Game of Thrones. While you’re there, stay and visit the museum’s impressive collection of medieval art.
