Central Park Zoo
Built in 1861 and located at the southeast corner of Central Park, it became the first public zoo to open in New York. The zoo is open all year long and consists of three major biomes; the Tropic Zone, Temperate Territory and the Polar Circle. You could easily spend an hour walking through each zone and taking pictures.

American Museum of Natural History
Recognized as one of the most famous museums of natural history in the world, this museum is a fun time machine. It’s beautifully designed, and full of adventures for everyone’s interest. From the planetarium to the dinosaurs, you’ll truly feel transported when visiting this place. This museum is pretty big, we recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes! Adult admission is only a suggested donation but IMAX films, planetarium shows, and special exhibits are charged at full price.

Washington Square Park
Washington Square Park is one of the most popular parks in NYC, well-known for honoring George Washington and for it’s stunning arch at the main entrance. The park is located right next to New York University and is always full of artists, musicians, and sun goers. Perfect for a day of relaxation and people watching in the summer sun. We highly recommend to bring kids, family, or friends for a fun day at the park. There are also lots of restaurants and bars around for grabbing a bite to eat or a refreshing drink.

Madame Tussauds
Madame Tussauds New York is a wax museum of famous people with each room/level themed to specific figures. The museum operates as a self-guided tour where you can walk through and marvel at the resemblance of your favorite sports star or musician as a wax figure. You can walk the tour in about 2 hours, be sure to grab a camera and pose with a former President or a famous actor or two! Tickets to Madame Tussauds start at $29.95.

Hudson River Park
The Hudson River Park on the West Side of Manhattan is an outdoor retreat by the Hudson. It offers a tremendous amount of activities over 500 acres, from tennis to mini golf, this park is for New Yorkers or visitors looking for some green. This spot is the longest waterfront park in the United States. While visiting, you can stroll around the walking paths, relax on the grass, or just come to see the sunset. Don’t forget to bring your camera because you won’t be able to resist taking some great photos!
