Spring break is a favorite holiday all over the country. How wouldn’t it be? It is a sign that spring is here. It is a break
from school. It’s a favorite time for vacations. If you’re traveling to NYC for spring break and want to make sure your kids
have a great time, then pay attention. We are going to present five ideas for entertaining your mini-me’s on this great week-long
holiday.

#1 An Easter Egg Hunt

While there are countless Easter egg hunts around and surrounding the city, we decided to showcase this one because it is
right here in Manhattan. The Lower Manhattan Community Church hosts a free event where kids can find eggs, get their face
painted, and participate in other games. Hurry up and register if you’d like to go- It’s only a few days away.

Where?The Tribeca Rooftop; 10 Desbrosses Street, Between Greenwich and Hudson, Manhattan (30 min drive from The Lombardy Hotel).

When? March 24th, 2018; 11am – 1pm

#2 A Children’s Museum

Young children have the time of their life at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan and spring break is definitely no exception.
They can play, make things, and participate in activities in activities related to dance, science, water, Japan, and healthy
lifestyles. If you go in the next few days, you’ll also be able to celebrate your little ladies with their Women’s Empowerment
Festival.

When? Tuesday-Friday & Sunday 10am–5pm; Saturday 10am–7pm

#3 Puppets in the Park

Your youngsters will love this real life representation of Peter Pan at Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater in Central Park.
In this version of the play, Tiger Lily and Tinkerbell succumb to Captain Hook’s cunning and the children have to team
up with the Never Boys to save Peter Pan. The play focuses on forgiveness and friendship- qualities that everyone, from
children to adults can appreciate and learn from.

When? April 2nd through 4th – 11:00am and 1:00pm; April 5th through 6th – 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm

#4 A “Light” Playground

Delight your kids (and yourself!) at this interactive light playground that uses colors, lights, shapes, and music to transport
you to a different, beautiful world. Play on your own, or come for one of the light shows that combines the lights with
music in ways that will awe and inspire you. It’s free, but you better check it out quick before it closes for the season.

#5 A Cinderella Play

Your kids will love to see Cinderella in real life with this one hour performance. Not only does the Player’s Theater deliver
a cute, humorous play, but they offer a one hour workshop for those families who arrive early. Learn kid-friendly stagecraft
and how to produce a play. They even get to make their own magic wand, so they can swoosh along with the play.
