At the time of this writing, July is 3 months away. A lot of you are doing your planning right now for summer vacations in NYC and want to know what to expect, what to book, and what to plan for. If you’re traveling with kids to New York City, then planning your vacation is even more important.

Weather In July In NYC

You can expect highs of 84 degrees Fahrenheit and lows of 68 in July in NYC. You’ll find sun most of the days, making it a great month for vacationing in New York. There could be some days with rain, however. It’s also an exceptionally humid month, so make sure you plan to pack cool, loose clothes for the heat and humidity. Also pack your sunscreen, because the UV index will be very high at 8.

Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks

This spectacular show combines awe-inspiring fireworks with music from performers, such as Jennifer Lopez, Brad Paisley, and Lady Antebellum, whom they invited over for the 2017 show. Also enjoy music by choirs, glee clubs, and orchestras from around NYC.

The fireworks themselves are enough to bring you around, with 25 minutes of more than two thousand bursts and effects reaching 3x higher than the Statue of Liberty. With 23 colors and new displays every year, this will be a night your family never forgets.
