If you watched TV in the 90s, then you definitely know the coffee shop from our favorite sitcom, Seinfeld. Full disclaimer- The inside of the coffee shop was actually a set they built in Los Angeles, but the outside of the shop is an actual restaurant on Broadway.

If you happen to be hungry when you visit, you can go in and try one of their 32 burger options, Italian specials, sandwiches, and desserts.

This restaurant is also known for more than the TV show, as it has been visited by former Senator John McCain and Barack Obama, as well as countless others from Columbia University.

The actual bar from How I Met Your Mother, MacLarens, is a fictional set they built for the show. But it was based on a bar in NYC called McGee’s Pub.

The pub sports all of the classics bar food, from chicken fingers to burgers, with some Irish specials, such as Shepards Pie and comfort food in the form of Chicken Pot Pie.

If you go on Mondays, you can experience the real How I Met Your Mother MacLarens with “Woo” Wings, “Accidental Curly” Fry basket, and “Bro Code” Combo of appetizers. Their HIMYM cocktails will also transport you right into the vibe of the show.

A small, but interesting detail for Marvel fans is Joe’s Pizza, where Peter Parker worked as a delivery boy in the second movie of the early 2000s Spider-man movies.

Apart from their small claim to fame, Joe’s Pizza can consistently be found on the top 10 restaurant listing guides and is well known for their New York style pizza.

Magnolia Bakery is known for having some of the best cupcakes in NYC. It also made a cameo in one episode of Sex and the City, which really helped the bakery become a worldwide phenomenon.

Everyone in NYC already knew that Magnolia Bakery made the best cupcakes, but it wasn’t quite a household name until Carrie and Miranda sat on a bench at the bakery, eating cupcakes and talking about…what Carrie and Miranda always talked about.

You can visit that same bakery today, though keep in mind that you will probably have to wait in line, though most say that the cupcakes are worth the wait.

You may not be an underground superhero, but you can definitely hang out in a bar like one. If you watched the Netflix Marvel series, Daredevil, then you definitely know Matt and Foggy’s favorite hangout, Josie’s Bar, though you might not be too keen on visiting it yourself.

If you do, then you should check out Turkey’s Nest Tavern, where the bar scenes from Daredevil were filmed. Don’t worry, the bartenders at the actual bar aren’t at all like Josie is in the show.
