Basking in the post-turkey glow and ready to check out what New York’s got in store for Black Friday weekend? While Black Friday originated with department stores and they generally offer the largest discounts, the shopping day has morphed into an entire weekend, which includes Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday. Black Friday proves that shopping in-person is alive and well. Here are just a few of the many, many stores hosting Black Friday sales across New York.

The Museum of Modern Art design store is always worth checking out for its fun gadgetry, elegant pieces and everyday classic MOMA insignia bags. On Black Friday the design store will have discounts, making it an ideal time to pop in and shop for your creative friends or family members.
