This year, highlights will focus on modern art, architectural elements, and live performances and events. The point of art isn’t just to consume it, but to engage with it.

If you love music and good weather and Brooklyn, then this festival is a must-see. With hundreds of bands, both local and not, you’ll find old favorites and new alike. The venues are basically all over Brooklyn, so you can easily walk or bike between them and hit up your favorites. They also boast an innovation fair, where you can see what’s new for tech, media, and entrepreneurs for the future.

In an attempt to improve upon other beer festivals, the Five Boro Craft Beer Fest emphasizes their VIP nature with a limited number of tickets sold. However, the smaller, more controlled scale means there will be no lines, warm beer, nasty bathrooms, and other staples of beer festivals. Come and drink the fresh brews from over 50 local and out-of-state breweries and good food.

Once upon a springtime is the theme of this year’s magical flower wonderland, hosted by Macy’s.
