#1 Are you social? Try some stand-up comedy at the Comedy Cellar

#2 Are you serious? Try some reading at the New York Society Library
The oldest book lender, operating since 1754, this iconic institution has several reading rooms that are open to the public and is the perfect place to dig into your favorite book.

#3 Are you creative? Try a painting class at the Painting Lounge
For a reasonable price, you can get a 2 hour painting lesson and everything you need to create a personal masterpiece that you can take home when you’re done.

#4 Are you energetic? Try biking around Central Park
Rent a bike, or bring your own, and take a ride around NYC’s most famously beautiful park. The exercise will warm you up on chilly winter days.

#5 Are you peaceful? Try meditation at Le Petit Versailles Garden
Take a moment of pause in this Manhattan community garden or visit for a mindful art show or performance by like-minded artists. Sit under the vines and appreciate the flower beds surrounding you in this urban escape.

#6 Are you compassionate? Try preparing and serving breakfast at St. John the Divine
