The Keto Diet in NYC

Keto is one of those diets that is proving itself to be more than a fad. I doubt it, but if this is the first you’re hearing about the keto diet (also known as the ketogenic diet), then here’s a definition: Keto Diet: A high fat, high protein, low carbohydrate and 0 sugar diet. The goal of this diet is to force your body to burn fats instead of carbohydrates, which basically turn to sugar once you eat them.

It’s a popular diet, but also a tricky one to have if you are going on vacation and eating out a lot. We compiled this list of our favorite keto-friendly restaurants in NYC.

#1 Springbone Kitchen

This restaurant in Manhattan believes in one thing, and one thing only: providing the best quality, healthy food. Their specialty is bone broth, and they do amazing things with it, such as their amazing variety of drinking broth. Burgers without buns and zucchini “zoodle” pasta make up this healthy menu. Finish it off with vegan dessert options.
