If you want to hear great live music and have a good time with friends, the Bowery Ballroom is a fantastic place to visit while  in lower Manhattan. Admission prices for shows are usually in the $20 range. The historic location is near other fun places, where you can pop in for a drink before going to a Bowery Ballroom concert.
